Cohutta Search Dogs, Inc. a non-profit, tax exempt, 501(c)(3), organization was formed to provide highly skilled k-9 teams (handler and dog) to search for lost or missing people. As a community service we DO NOT charge for our services which is locating lost and missing persons as well as recovery of human remains. We are located in North Georgia and are available to assist law enforcement and any responsible person that is recommended by a law enforcement agency in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Alabama. We will go any place in the United States upon special request. We have worked with local and state law enforcement departments as well as fire departments and emergency management agencies, also private volunteer groups. Our teams are trained in wilderness searches as well human remains detection All training and equipment for the dog teams is of the highest quality. And we are capable of being self-sufficient for up to 72 hours. We can only provide this service through donations.
